"It is agreed that creditors on either side shall meet with no lawful impediment to the recovery of the full value in sterling money of all bona fide debts heretofore contracted. " (This sentence got my attieon because it gives a example on how U.S was declaring peace.

5. Write your reaction or opinion about this document? I think that this document,was a very good did because it really shows who the "bigger person" was in the whole revolutionary war.

The 14th amendment is about the rights of becoming a citizen and how anybody born in the jurisdiction of the United States is a citizen.The 15th amendment is about the rights of people to vote and that race, color, and previously being a slave cannot effect voting rights. These where three of the many very important amendments made during this time.

" Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction." I think this is interesting because it says that you can still have involuntary servitude as a punishment for crime of people who are duly convicted. - 13th amendment
